Prior to our transition from Alliance Sotheby’s International Realty to Coldwell Banker Wallace and Wallace, Deanna and I spent many hours researching our options for local brokerages that we felt would provide our clients with the global exposure we demanded, and a local network that provided the systems and tools that we felt were necessary to move to the next level.
We began by asking our colleagues from other brokerages to tell us about their experiences and immediately noticed a trend. Agents with CBWW spoke of the integrity of Jim and George Wallace, mentioning their strong leadership and outstanding administrative support staff, and bragging about their in-house marketing team. Their experiences certainly made us want to investigate further.

Beyond this, what really won us over were the people. The story of Coldwell Banker Wallace & Wallace is one of leadership, integrity, and success. Since 1936, three generations of the Wallace family have been committed to providing East Tennessee with a real estate experience that is unmatched in quality and satisfaction. The company was founded on a commitment to professionalism and customer service that continues to be at the core of their business philosophy. When we met with Claudia Stallings and Adam Brown, Deanna and I were blown away by both their professionalism and their high standards for realtor credentials. We were impressed even before our meeting with the media team. Once we learned more about their in-house systems for social media, direct mail and print marketing, we knew this was the company that we wanted to be a part of.
We made the decision to commit and were excited about our future with Coldwell Banker but still apprehensive about letting our current buyers and sellers know about the change. This apprehension was, however, short lived when one after another of our clients voiced their plans to move with us to CBWW. We heard over and over that they didn’t care what color our sign was or what company we were with, they just wanted to continue to work with us. Actually, in the two weeks since we officially moved, we’ve worked with homeowners on two separate occasions who have been with Deanna in the past and when she mentioned to them that she has moved to Coldwell Banker they both responded, “We don’t care what company you’re with, we want you”. Talking about how hard she’d worked for them in the past, how they trusted her completely, and how lucky I was to be working with her now, I couldn’t agree more!
So as 1/2 of the Knoxville Living Realty Collaboration, I am truly blessed to work with Deanna, whose clients are loyal because she has proven herself, time and time again, over the past 20 years in this industry. And now we get the opportunity to work for a company that supports our aggressive business goals and presses us to maintain our high standards for customer service. I am truly honored!
